Ring in the luck of the Irish with animal enrichment at Kansas City Zoo. There will also be llamas, goats and more animals parading through the zoo. Watch the O’Riada-Manning Academy of Irish Dance perform at 10:30am. Don’t forget to get your picture taken with the leprechaun on Saturday or Sunday 10am-Noon.

Snake Saturday Festival

St.Patrick’s is almost here! There are a variety of activities fun for everyone at the Snake festival. The carnival is a great place for rides, games and prizes. There’s a Children’s area that includes a barrel train, airbrush tattoos, pony rides, petting zoo, tricycle obstacle course and more! This area is open 10am-3pm Watch and participate in the Clyde Ellis Race On Car Show where you can see the best race cars, meet local drivers, learn about the racing community and more.

Emerald Isle Parade

Join in the fun at the end of the rainbow in the Emerald Isle Parade. This event features floats, walking groups, Irish dancers, musicians, a Pot O’ Gold Coin Hunt and a pub crawl. The parade will start on 8th street and move north on Green Street, west on 3rd then north on SE Main Street.

11:30am – Pot O’ Gold Coin Hunt @ Howard Station Park

Noon – Emerald Isle Parade
